Bach St Matthew Passion
Our Spring 2011 concert was Southern Voices’ first performance of Bach’s setting of the story of Christ’s passion, as told by St Matthew. We were joined by Southern Sinfonia and a line-up of top soloists for a very special evening.
CD recording
In 2008 we released our first CD, A Winchester Christmas, which has won acclaim from composers in Los Angeles and London! The CD can be purchased online or from the choir.
Gretchaninov: Passion Week
We believe that this was only the second UK performance of the majestic work Passion Week by the Russian master Alexander Grechaninov.(part of the 2009 Winchester Festival)
